Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) is the 3D printing process used to create real metal prints. The material is comprised of real metal powder which is kept in a bed at a temperature just below the materials melting point. A fine laser then directly traces shapes and images onto each layer, this extra heat pushes the powder of the edge of the melting point causing it to fuse together. The 3D object is built from this solidified powder layer by layer until the entire object is merged together.

The metals we offer in this process are Titanium, Stainless Steel, Inconel and Bronze.
